What are self-pay fees?
My fee is $180 for a 53-minute session. This includes family sessions and or individual sessions.

Do you take insurance?
Yes. I am currently in network with Aetna of California, Carelon Behavioral Health, Medicare, Anthem and Quest Behavioral Health. If you are out of network, I can provide a superbill for clients who wish to pursue out-of-network reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider to determine your eligibility for these benefits.

What can I expect during the consultation?
We’ll begin by getting to know each other and exploring what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your goals, current concerns, and any relevant history. This is also a time for you to ask questions. A very important factor in therapy success is the therapeutic relationship, so together we’ll determine if we’re a good fit to ensure you receive the support that’s right for you.

What happens during the first session?
In your first session, we’ll talk about your goals, your history, and what’s bringing you to therapy. You’ll also learn about my approach, and together we’ll decide on a pace that feels safe and comfortable. Many clients feel nervous at first- I make sure we move slowly, building trust before addressing heavier topics.

How long are sessions, and how often should I come?
Sessions are typically 53 minutes. Most clients start weekly, but frequency can be adjusted based on your needs and goals.

What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may incur a 50% fee

Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Everything shared in sessions is confidential, even if you are a minor, except in situations required by law (such as risk of harm to yourself or others).

What languages do you speak?
I speak and understand English, Spanish, Armenian, and Swedish. For therapy, I am most comfortable working in English and Armenian.

Do you see clients in person?

At this time, I am offering virtual sessions only, which allows me to work with clients anywhere in California. For local clients in Los Angeles, in-person sessions may become available in the future—stay tuned for updates.

What is a "Good Faith Estimate"?
A “Good Faith Estimate” explains how much your medical and mental health care will cost over the period of time you are in treatment. Under this law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are choosing not to use their insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. Please note that if you are submitting claims to insurance for an out of network provider, you will not receive a Good Faith Estimate, as you are using insurance to pay for all of or a portion of treatment. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
