My Journey To Private Practice

After graduating from Columbia University School of Social Work in 2015, I started working as a high school therapist, first in Harlem, New York, and then back in my hometown of Los Angeles, California. I loved supporting students through the challenges that affected their school life and working with parents who wanted to better understand their teens.

When war erupted in my home country, my path shifted completely. I left my position and moved to Armenia to support those directly affected— wounded soldiers, parents and siblings of fallen soldiers, and refugees. While I had always worked with trauma in schools, witnessing its effects firsthand on such a large scale deepened my understanding of its far-reaching impact on individuals, families, and communities.

"This solidified my passion: helping people heal from trauma"

Since then, I have specialized in trauma-informed care, completing training in EMDR and currently pursuing certification, while working with clients across the lifespan. Today, I run a private practice that combines my two passions: trauma work and supporting teens and parents as they navigate life’s challenges.

What clients say working with me is like:

  • Warm, Easy to talk to.

  • Evidence-Based, See results quickly.

  • Supportive and patient.

  • Not just venting. We work toward change.
